How it works
Open your PDF, then draw your signature with the mouse or your finger, or type your name in a handwriting style. The signature appears on the page preview where you drag it into place and set the size, and the download embeds it into the PDF.
Everything runs in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
Private by design
Because the signing happens on your device, your document and your signature never reach a server. That is the difference from the big online signing sites, which upload your file. Close the tab and nothing is left behind.
A visible signature
This adds a visible signature image to the page, which is fine for most everyday agreements. For uses that require a qualified electronic signature with an identity certificate, use a dedicated QES provider.
Frequently asked questions
Is my document uploaded when I sign it?
No. The PDF is opened and signed entirely in your browser using your device. Nothing is sent to a server, so your document never leaves your computer.
How do I place the signature exactly?
After you add a signature it appears on the page preview. Drag it to the spot you want and use the size slider to make it larger or smaller. On a multi-page PDF, choose the page first.
Is this a legally binding electronic signature?
It adds a visible image of your signature to the PDF, which is a simple electronic signature and is widely accepted for everyday documents. It is not a qualified electronic signature (QES) with a certificate, which some official or contractual uses require.
Can I sign more than one page?
You place one signature at a time. Pick the page, position it, and download; you can repeat the process on the downloaded file to add another signature on a different page.
